Joo Y. Park concentrates her practice on family law, which includes a wide range of matters: pre-nuptial agreements; divorce litigation; post-decree matters; child custody/ parenting time; child support; spousal maintenance/ alimony; equitable distribution of assets and debts; and civil protection orders.
Joo approaches all of her cases with a collaborative and cost-effective approach, while representing her clients zealously and with attention to detail.
Over the course of her career, Joo has handled countless number of complex divorce matters involving division of significant assets and property, complicated support and spousal maintenance/ alimony calculations, and contentious custody issues.
Joo is also a certified mediator, having completed a 3 day mediation training course, approved by the Colorado Bar Association.
As part of her practice, Joo values providing pro bono service to low income clients. Throughout her career, Joo has dedicated many hours of pro bono service to low income clients.
Joo is currently serving as the Vice President of the Pitkin County Bar Association, after having served as a Treasurer/Secretary from 2021 to 2022.

When not practicing law, Joo enjoys spending time with her dogs and going on long distance runs and hikes. Joo also enjoys classical music and plays the piano. Since moving to Colorado, Joo has learned to snowboard and become an avid hiker
